To his editor Bruno Cassirer, sending writings to be edited (not present), noting that they must be published this year, promising a substantial statement on the subject for the next issue, and giving travel plans. "The issue containing all the material is going out to you in the same mail with this letter. I would be much obliged if you would check the external appearance once again - you are doubtless already in agreement - or nearly so - with the content. Now, getting Hart out this summer is still the best alternative. After all, at Hollaender's express instigation, the material was written especially for us and therefore must appear this year. Granted, Hagemann's contribution is certainly quite trivial and overbearing; however, he brings up a subject on which we can gather several more opinions. A very substantial statement on the subject is already scheduled for the next issue [...]".
