Papal breve regarding the deposition and excommunication of the rebellious cardinals Bernardino Carvajal, Guillaume Briçonnet, Francesco Borgia, and René de Prie for having convoked the schismatic second Council of Pisa in 1511. After the death of Julius II and the election of Leo X in 1513, the surviving rebels apologized and were once more received into the church.
Slight waterstaining throughout; an old handwritten shelfmark to title.
