However, Rolland promises to review his notes to see if there is "some fragment" that might interest the Parisian readers: "Je vous remercie de m'envoyer votre vaillante revue, que je lis avec intérêt. J'aurais plaisir à vous témoigner ma sympathie. Mais je n'écris pas d'articles, je suis diablement pris par mes tâches. Je vous promets toutefois de songer aux Parisiens, quand je trouverai dans mes notes quelque fragment qui me paraisse susceptible de les intéresser [...]".
