Correspondence with the Parisian publishing house Librairie Stock, probably its director Maurice Delamain, concerning a publication. In the earliest letter, dated 8 December 1926, Franc-Nohain suggests two titles, "Fables et Monologues" and "Dites-nous de Franc Nohain", and inquires after Stock's terms.
Despite a recipient's note "refusé" on this letter, Franc-Nohain stayed in touch with Stock and, on 16 December, thanked Delamain for his opinion on texts that he had sent him. It would take another three years until Stock published "Dites-nous quelque chose de Franc-Nohain" in 1930.
The earlier letters on stationery of "L'Echo de Paris", the typed letter on Franc-Nohain's personal stationery. Letter from 5 January 1927 with recipient's stamp and note. Some staple holes and minor ruststains; minimal browning; typed letter with minor tears.
