Charming correspondence with various close friends including Marie Rothan, wife of Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the International Olympic Commitee, and Marie-Thérèse Le Gualès de Mézaubran, the mother of the politician and resistance fighter Adolphe Le Gualès de Mézaubran.

The earliest object is the postcard with a postmark from 25 June 1905 that is addressed to Claire Sauvaire-Jourdan, inviting her and her family to Adam's Abbaye de Gif estate.

The letter to Marie Rothan de Coubertin is dated 15 July 1907. Adam asks her friend whether she and a Madame de Souza, possibly the wife of the poet Robert de Souza, can visit them at Château de Coubertin in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse: "Madame de Souza et moi pouvons nous aller vous faire visite vendredi e 4 à 5 heures ? [...]".

In her letter to the Comtesse Marie-Thérèse Le Gualès de Mézaubran, Adam suggests meeting in the summer, as she is getting older and the New Year's wishes that they send each other annually "will soon cease": "Comme c'est charmant ces vœux fidèles que nous échangeons chaque année. Je suis si vieille que bientôt ils cesseront... d'ici là ne nous reverrons nous pas ? pour causer, l'un de ces causeries qui, vous vous le rappelez, nous avaient liées sur l'heure. Essayons donc cet été de nous revoir [...]".

In the undated final letter on stationery of Adam's "La Nouvelle Revue", she announces to an unnamed recipient that she will publish his text or illustration in her journal: "Cette fois vous êtes absens ! et j'avais bien raison de vous demander d'être des notres. Que c'est coloré est vivant ce que vous m'envoyez je le publierai le 13 Janvier avec joie [...]".

The postcard with a pasted illustration of a gothic vault. Minimal browning.
