We trust to your giving it something of Scottish character: & if you see your way to more direct 'local colouring' by a few scenes from Banffshire all the better!! Will you kindly send us the title soon, & the briefest description to admit of its being advertised? I would propose commencing publication five or six weeks from this date [...]".
