A collection of rare photographs showing Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar (ruled 1972-95), with Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Kazim, first president of Qatar University (1977-86), touring the faculties and examining what appears to be a minerals exhibition. The set includes an image of the Sheikh receiving a gift plaque, perhaps an honorary degree from Qatar University.
