The band's debut studio album, inscribed on the back cover by George: "To Moira Love and Best wishes from the BEATLES", signed "George Harrison", "Paul McCartney XXX", "Ringo Starr", and (in red ballpoint) "John Lennon XXX".

Any album signed by all four members is highly desirable; roughly 75 signed copies of this title are known to exist.

Provenance

Includes a letter of provenance by the dedicatee, who was introduced to the group when her partner, a BBC cameraman, was filming the Beatles in Manchester in 1963. George Harrison, a keen amateur photographer, asked her partner for photography advice, including recommendations for camera brands, and at the cameraman's request, they signed this album for her. In her possession until November 2023.

Condition

With old tape repair to the back top edge, light scuffing and soiling, professionally retouched.
