Oblong folio (347 x 260 mm). Engraved score throughout. With dedication leaf to Archduke Rudolph and second title to Act 2, plate numbers 2327-2343, without any of the blank leaves following some numbers. Modern quarter calf over purple marbled boards.

The very rare first edition, first issue, of the vocal score of "Fidelio". The arrangement was made by Ignaz Moscheles. A full score did not appear until 1826.
