Personal notebook of the Aramco employee Steve Burnett, who attended an Arabic course in Dhahran in December 1952. His notes comprise four leaves of Arabic vocabulary in Latin alphabet with corresponding English translations, neatly assembled in two pre-printed columns headed "word" and "meaning".
The enclosed photograph, bearing Burnett's ownership on the reverse, depicts the Dhahran Airfield office building.
A rare survival.
