The image shows the early days of the Corniche, with new roads and modern residential buildings built in the early 1970s, including land reclamation structures and notable landmarks such as Qasr Al Hosn fort or the famed "Onion Tower" in the distance, the shots predating the construction of skyscrapers and most larger complexes on the Corniche by several years.
