Rare press photographs of Mana Saeed al-Otaiba (born 1946), first Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the United Arab Emirates under the presidency of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, heading a conference in the Middle East. Al-Otaiba served as President of OPEC six times, for its 26th, 52nd, 53rd, 54th, 62nd and 63rd conferences, held during the years 1971-1983.
The images show gentlemen in both western and traditional Arab dress sitting at a conference table or standing in smaller groups engaged in conversation, as well as having lunch or dinner.
Some corners faintly worn, otherwise very well preserved.
