A legal document written in Arabic by a member of the Berber tribes of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. A man named Ahmad testifies that he was present during the creation of the document, alongside the writer’s uncle and his brother. The latter grants to the former all his plots of land in a certain village after having been requested to do so. The writer notes that this agreement was reached in Ramadan of 1142 H (March 1730 CE), and a note in a second hand affirms that Ahmad, the cousin of of the beneficiary, confirms what is written above, in 1143 H (October 1730 CE).
