"A book of morals, discussing love, charity, humility, etc. in separate sections, all developed from faith" (cf. Fürst). Norzi (1520-83), from a wealthy Northern Italian family of bankers, served as Rabbi in Ferrara and Mantua.

Closely trimmed (loss of a few page numbers). Slightly browned; ownership notes on t.p. unattractively obliterated by green ink. Last f. has Hebrew ownership note in ballpoint pen on reverse (with traces of an erased stamp).
