Charming collection of views of Biedermeier Vienna and its environs as well as several of the most famous views of the Rhine. The etchings published by Artaria include 19 views of Vienna, 2 of Hietzing, 5 of Schönbrunn, and 3 of Neuwaldegg; 8 show Baden and 4 show Laxenburg castle. Other etchings show woodcutters and pretzel bakers as well as scenes from a coffee house. Jügel's fine views of the Rhine include Bingen, Boppard, Koblenz, Cologne, Mainz, Rüdesheim, the Loreley and St. Goarshausen with Katz and Rheinfels castles, etc.
Occasional slight duststaining, but generally very appealingly preserved, all in vibrant original colour.
