Two sections of Ottoman Turkish manuscripts based around charts and mathematics. One is aimed at problems of geometry, explaining the uses of triangles, square roots, and including an uncommon number of calculations explaining carefully what the author is doing. Its diagrams are very neatly done and prolific throughout even a small section of text.

The second section approaches mathematics via the field of astrology, which demanded many charts and calculations for the practitioner. Often mathematics manuscripts were written in Arabic, so these are particularly interesting Ottoman Turkish survivals.

Edges clipped, lightly worn.
