A fascinating example of a Front de libération nationale (FLN) propaganda pamphlet from the Algerian War, which ultimately won Algeria independence from France and installed the victorious FLN as the sole ruling party of the country. Published in French and Arabic, the pamphlet is designed to win support for the Algerian cause on the home front, whether in Algeria or in metropolitan France, where support for the French side of the war was waning. Prominently featured are women in the FLN, including two of the six Algerian women to receive the death penalty in a military tribunal during the war: Djamila Bouazza (1938-2015) and Djamila Bouhirab (b. 1935), whose sentence would be adjusted to imprisonment after popular protests.

In good condition.
