The drawings were created during excursions made to the Wachau, Thaya, and Vienna regions, as well as to southern Lower Austria and the foothills of the Alps. They show the ruins of Johannstein near Sparbach, Starhemberg near Wiener Neustadt, St. Othmar in Mödling, three views of Molz, Kollmitz, Weißenburg, Schauenstein, Lichtenwörth, Tulln, Greifenstein, the church in Muthmannsdorf, Scharfeneck near Mannersdorf, Kaya, Hardegg, Aggstein, Pottschach, Klamm, Wald, Albrechtsberg, Gamming, as well as two views of Neuberg/Mürz (Styria). In spite of their not always convincing artistic quality, these highly detailed views constitute a valuable topographic source.
