Beautiful mid-19th c. introduction to the delights of Switzerland, depicting scenic views as well as charming inhabitants in their native costumes. The first work consists of 12 colour scenic plates after Deroy, lithographed by Muller or Aubrun (not found in Longchamp). The second work includes 12 plates of local costumes, signed "Charles Vallet" (Lonchamp attributing it to the publisher Bicherat).
