He had spoken to Margarete Susman in Zurich on that case, and recommends the German writer Paul Schallück to whom Melzer should turn to as the only one "who has a hand to help and an ear to listen [...] You see: I have just a word of helplessness to say ... and only a little hope searching for a space in what we have in common [...]" (7. VI. 1963; transl. from the German original).
