Written at Poitou ca. 1745, this work was not published until 1864 at the end of an edition of Jacques du Fouilloux's "La Venerie". Harting recommends it and writes that his "treatise conveys a good idea of the state of falconry in the 18th century in Poitou, where the native Goshawk was much used".
Occasional spotting, heavier to endpapers.
