Programme and catalogue for the First International Psychedelic Exposition (FIPE), issued from Millbrook, presenting the event’s stated aims and exhibitors. Printed in black and split-fountain colour with hand-drawn display lettering; the cover uses a graduated green-to-red field with radiating line-work, echoed by saturated interior plates.
The artwork is credited to Gary Wheaton and Ahalya Ananda, whose ornamental line and colour transitions shape the booklet’s visual rhythm throughout. The text describes the Exposition as a public “show case” for psychedelic culture, proposing “open and forthright” presentation as a means of communication between sceptics and participants, and foregrounding music, art, visual techniques, and group events. The exhibitors list places the publication within the Millbrook nexus and its adjacent networks, including Timothy Leary’s League of Spiritual Discovery, Art Kleps’ Neo-American Church, and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, alongside references to yoga, chanting, and related spiritual discourse.
In fine condition.
