Rare treatise on archaeological remains found across the United Arab Emirates, including observations on Abu Dhabi's cultural relations in the third millennium BC. Includes a large folding map of the principal archaeological sites across the country.

Among the sites discussed in detail are the tombs at Jebel Hafeet, Umm al Nar Island, Hili, and Badi' Bint Saud, as well as excavations at Al-Qusais (Dubai), Mleiha (Sharjah), Ad-Dur (Umm Al Quwain), and Al-Darbahaniyya (Ras Al Khaimah). The work further addresses the conservation of antiquities and the establishment of historical museums in the UAE capital.
