Special edition of the official periodical publication of laws and decrees issued by the UAE government since its foundation in 1971. A combined edition of the original monthly issues, comprising the Gazette from the transitional period of 1971 to 1976 in three volumes, as well as one volume each for 1977 and 1978, including foundational documents such as the UAE constitution, Federal Law No. 1 establishing the Official Gazette, Federal Law No. 2 concerning the flag of the Union and Federal Law No. 3 concerning the Armed Forces. Later regulations published in the present volumes include the determination of the salaries of the Prime Minister and the other ministers, the appointment of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces, fiscal accounts, laws for publishing, social security, pensions and retirement benefits for civil servants and workers, matters of jurisdiction, immigration, health, transportation, and Islam.
