To the architect and designer Josef Hoffmann. Schiele asks Hoffmann to leave a "hand drawing", originally intended as a poster for the Stockholm exhibition, with the porter of the Kunstgewerbeschule, from where it was to be forwarded to him by Erich Lederer.

Last traced with Antiquariat Ingo Nebehay, Vienna, list 26 (September 1967), no. 378. Thereafter in an Austrian private collection.
