Discusses major landmarks of the Syrian capital including the Umayyad Mosque, the Citadel, and al-Adiliyah Madrasa. The plates include plans of the old town, al-Walid mosque, and the house of As'ad-Pacha el-'Azm.

Slight worming to the lower margin of the first third of the volume, otherwise very well preserved.
